What To Expect At Seaside
We hope that you will choose to join us for worship this Sunday! When you arrive at Seaside, we invite you to utilize the Guest Parking spots located at the front of the Sanctuary Entrance. There will be folks at the front door to greet you and direct you to our Welcome Desk. There you can ask any questions you may have and receive a name tag if you so choose. Our Welcome Desk team will also gladly direct you to any areas you may need to visit while at Seaside.
Our worship services range from traditional to contemporary, and so does the attire of the congregation! Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable, whether that be a suit and tie or shorts and flip flops. We believe that worship is meant to be a time wherein you can offer your most authentic self before God, so come as you are.
Nursery space can be provided during our 9:30 and 11:00 services throughout the year. Please contact Neil Crowell at ncrowell@seasideumc.org to confirm availability or for more information. Children’s Sunday School is held during our 9:30 service September - May. During the summer months we love having children in the worship services where they have an opportunity to witness the faith of their parents and caregivers in action. If the need should arise to take your child from the service for any reason, we have a church parlor off of the sanctuary with some books and toys, and where you will still be able to hear and see the service while your child is made more comfortable.
Following the service we have a small gift for all of our first-time guests as a small token of our appreciation for their choosing to worship with us. As you receive that gift, if you choose, you have the opportunity to speak with the pastors and other members as they get to know you and your story a little more. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about Seaside.
We are looking forward to meeting you and hope that you will find Seaside to be a place of warmth and welcome for you!
